Scentsy Gone Wild

My kids were playing ball in the house, and spilled my Scentsy all over creation tonight. I was really pretty mad, but I thought I handled myself pretty well considering all the stress I'm currently in. My sweet precious Abbi came up to me with tears in her eyes, handed me a wad of money and said, "Here mommy. I'm really sorry. Buy a new one." She has been saving really hard for a new bike. So this was a very hard thing for her to do.

I feel so blessed to have such wonderful children, that I complain about all the time. My world would be shattered without them.

How ironic...Jeremy (my 4th child) spilled my scentsy yesterday too! The wax went all over the carpet, which isn't easy to get out. Hopefully your wax was on a solid surface, if not, I now have a great trick for getting wax out of carpet! Hope your week gets better *hugs*

I'm a Scentsy consultant in Utah and I know the trick to get Scentsy wax out of carpet. It's quick and easy! Take one layer of paper bag and lay it over the wax spill. Use you iron on it's lowest setting and rub it over the paper bag. You'll begin to see the wax seep into the paper. Keep moving the paper bag around so the wax has a clean spot to seep into. Repeat these steps until the carpet is clean. Don't let the wax sit on your carpet too long with out trying to remove it. The dye in the wax can stain your carpet even if all the wax is removed.

I hope this helps. Let me know if you have any more questions;)

Christine, by any chance can you help me with wax on the wall and in rustic furniture? I googled getting scentsy wax out of carpet and it brought me to this blog!

Thanks!!!

As far as a wall or furniture goes, try to scrape off as much wax as you can then you can use some type of heat tool to melt the wax and wipe it away. Scentsy wax melts at a very low temperature so keep that in mind when you choose a heat setting. I would try an iron on it's lowest setting and a terry cloth rag on the wall. On the furniture I would use a heat gun or a blow dryer or steam machine (I've used a Scunci steamer to clean wax off my couch). Melt the wax and wipe away with a terry cloth rag. If the wax has been there for a while you may have a color stain. You could maybe try bleach if the surface is white. If not maybe it's time to repaint;)
I hope that helps.

OMGoodness I am so glad to have stumbled upon this conversation! My new puppy used my plug-in wall Scentsy to give herself a boost as she climbed over her baby gate! Lil brat! ;) The thing was still plugged in... but tilted sideways... so we had a lovely splash of pink wax on a white wall AND light colored carpet! Thanks for coming to the rescue girls!!! :)

stumbled across your site while googling scentsy stains. in my case it was orange wax on white linoleum. unfortunately the stain is awful and permanent. liquid bleach, barkeepers friend, comet scrub, haven't worked so far. i think i'll replace the scentsy bars with plain paraffin wax and a few drops of essential oil from now on in case of future mishaps.

After scraping some of the pink wax off the wall I used a few paper towels & a blow dryer to melt & absorb the rest off. All that remained on my white wall was a light pink stain. I applied a big glob of "Soft Scrub with Bleach" and let it set overnight... and my wall is white again!!!
