Riverton 1/2 Marathon

The night before my Riverton 1/2 Marathon (13.1 miles ya'll), I let the kids have a sleepover. Not such a great move. Abbi had Katie sleepover, and they were just fine. Kaleb had Jonas sleepeover (isn't it cute with their matching pajamas?) and they were fine, and it was very nice of Kaleb and Jonas to let Kali sleep with them. That is where the problem occured. Kali couldn't be quiet. She thought it was so cool!

This was quite the accomplishment for me. I have been training for about 2 months. Of the two months I trained HARD and consistant for the first 6 weeks. The last two I slacked on, and I think it REALLY hurt me. However, I did finish in 2:34, and in 79th place overall. Not too shabby!

Kaleb's new passion. Drawing Mario Brothers characters, and not JUST Mario Characters...but ALL of them. Driving me insane! He cuts, and colors, and glues, and leaves pieces, and mess ALL over! But he is a very good little artist if I don't say so myself!

Tornado

Here is my adorable little human tornado. I literally picked this SAME mess up 5 minutes before it happened again! I have totally forgotten what 1 year old's do. Notice the shoe lace around her neck? That she took out of brothers drawer along with all of his socks! I basically follow her from one room to another picking up after her little disasters and if she hears me clean them up....she comes right back and does it again! It's a good thing she's so darn cute!

Kaisey is starting to walk a little bit. If you hold her hands she walks with ease. If you take one finger away, her cute little hand does the more sign (open and close) until you give her your finger back. It's absolutely adorable.

Saturday

Abbi had her first dance competition. They took second in both dances. I'm so proud of her! I about had a melt down when she was all "done up." What a beauty! Abbi's daddy Brad took her to her competition so that I could go to Morghan's baptism. Thanks Brad.

Morghan is a darling girl that was in my Primary class last year. She invited me to come to her baptism. I could feel the spirit SO strong from the moment that I entered the room. I feel blessed to have been a part of her experience. Morghan is an ANGEL and a blessing to all those who have the opportunity to know her!

Remvoing the Truck

See all the neighborhood spectators?

This is the crap truck that Trent bought for Kaleb....not Abbi....but Kaleb. It's very old, and doesn't run YET. So this truck had to be removed for the sake of home selling. We decided to send it to Beaver with Trent's dad. The truck's tires were too big for the trailer, so the boys had a great idea to let the air out, and make them smaller. Nope that didn't work. Finally Trent went to the junk yard and got 3 very very small tires, and they were able to load the truck on the trailer. Good bye truck

Eureka! Scooby solves the Mystery!

What a fantastic day I am having. Getting some lovin....AND solving the garbage can mystery!

The "lovin" I'm referring to, is from my baby. Kaisey is NOT a cuddly baby. Today I got a love from her for at least 2 minutes. That was one of the best 2 minutes of my life!

Now on to my mystery. My garbage can has been missing a couple times. I have had to put it across the street since Trent has one of his MANY (I call it like I see it honey) work trucks parked in front of our house. I have forgotten to put the garbage can away, and it has ended up at the neighbors house. I couldn't figure it out until today.

I was sitting in the office playing on facebook (thanks facebook) and I watched this adorably slow walking little man put the neighbor's garbage can away. Thanks to my hubby's worker (who wrecked one of our trucks this week) we didn't have to put the garbage cans across the street. So this little man proceeds to my house...and I not really getting the entire picture yet....ducked (cuz my blinds were open) and watched. He slowly put one of my garbage cans away, and then went back for the other. I, in the mean time, am still watching, and he keeps going. That's when I go for my camera. I'm not so sure that this was an easy thing for this man to do. He put all the garbage cans away in my cirlce, and then proceeded to go up the neighborhood.

Who is this masked man? (I am actually in tears.) Such a tiny act of kindness that has made a BIG impression on me today. I will pay it forward.

Random Stuff

Kaisey and Binx watching Daddy cut tile. I think it's hilarious that these two are the exact same height, and weight for that matter!

It's been a while since I've done any blogging. We have decided to jump on the "moving" wagon. We've been hard at work cleaning, tiling, painting, etc. I'm extremely nervous about it. I have prayed, and I feel that this is certainly one path we can go down. So if it works, fantastic.....if it doesn't...well that's fantastic also! Whomever lives in our house whether it be us, or someone else, will be blessed with neighbors, and a ward that I adore. I am totally prepared for the roller coaster ride of my life....because when the realtor put the sign in my yard, I had to fight back the tears.
